Investment Education and Market Insights
An increasing body of research indicates that investors are struggling to produce smart investments. Fortunately, there are always a selection of resources that could help investors make better decisions. The FINRA Foundation and NORC at the University of Chicago have partnered to produce the Consumer Insights on Money and Investing project, which aims to explore trends and circumstances that influence money management and investing knowledge. This report provides insights in to the underlying factors behind poor investment education and how it can be improved. A recently available study by the FINRA Foundation examined new investment account openers to uncover the causes they are preventing the stock market and how to prevent them.
